Functions: Clears liver and brightens eyes, removes dampness and detoxifies, stops malaria
Indications:
- Eye opacity/pterygium
- Red eyes
- Jaundice
- Carbuncles
- Rheumatic arthritis
- Malaria
Usage & Prescriptions
Dosage: External: crush and apply to blister, stuff nose, or apply juice. Generally NOT taken internally.
Eye membrane removal
Place a copper coin on the pulse point, crush fresh buttercup and apply over the coin hole to draw toxin
Asthma
Crush fresh buttercup, apply to Dazhui acupoint; or wrap small amount in gauze, stuff in nostril, remove after relief
Jaundice
Crush fresh buttercup, apply to wrist pulse area, puncture blisters when formed, drain yellow fluid
Caution
This plant is irritating and generally NOT taken internally. External use only.
