Usage & Prescriptions

Dosage: Internal: 6-15g, decoct. External: crush fresh plant and apply.

Childhood convulsions

Fresh rue 10-15g, steep in boiling water, take twice daily

Bruise swelling

Fresh rue leaves 15g, crush and take with warm wine; also apply externally

Childhood eczema

Fresh rue stems/leaves 6g, mung beans 10g, steep in boiling water and take

Caution

Contraindicated during pregnancy.
