Usage & Prescriptions

Dosage: 15-30g, decoct. External: crush fresh plant and apply or wash.

Cold with fever

False pimpernel 30g decoct, or fresh 60-90g crush and take juice

Chronic bacillary dysentery

Fresh false pimpernel 60-90g, fresh phoenix-tail fern & wild amaranth 30g each, decoct

Carbuncles and swelling

Fresh false pimpernel 60g, decoct with half wine half water; apply residue externally
