Sawtooth coriander 15g, decoct. Also crush fresh and apply externally

Laksa with Sawtooth Coriander

Classic Malaysian laksa — sawtooth coriander is a key herb

Servings: Serves 2

Ingredients:

  • Fresh sawtooth coriander, a handful
  • Laksa paste 3 tbsp
  • Coconut milk 200ml
  • Rice noodles or yellow noodles 200g
  • Prawns 10 pieces
  • Tofu puffs 6 pieces
  • Fish cake, as needed
  • Cucumber, half
  • Mint leaves

Instructions:

  1. 1.Devein and shell prawns
  2. 2.Fry laksa paste in oil until fragrant
  3. 3.Add water and coconut milk, bring to boil
  4. 4.Add prawns, fish cake, tofu puffs, cook through
  5. 5.Blanch noodles and place in bowl
  6. 6.Ladle laksa soup over noodles
  7. 7.Top with chopped sawtooth coriander, mint, and cucumber shreds

Sawtooth Coriander Cold Remedy Porridge

Herbal porridge for wind-cold common cold

Servings: Serves 1

Ingredients:

  • Sawtooth coriander 15g
  • Spring onions 3
  • Ginger 3 slices
  • Plain rice porridge 1 bowl

Instructions:

  1. 1.Crush sawtooth coriander, onions, and ginger together
  2. 2.Cook plain rice porridge
  3. 3.Stir the crushed herbs into hot porridge
  4. 4.Eat while hot, then wrap up in blanket to sweat
