Functions: Dispels wind-damp, strengthens sinews and bones, tonifies liver and kidney, invigorates blood

Usage & Prescriptions

Dosage: 15-30g, decoct or soak in wine. External use as needed.

Lumbar muscle strain

Drynaria 15g, stir-fry with salt water, decoct

Kidney-deficiency tinnitus

Drynaria 30g, wolfberry 15g, salvia 20g, decoct in 2 doses

Hair loss (alopecia)

Fresh drynaria, cut and rub on affected area; or soak in 75% alcohol for 14 days, apply 2-3 times daily

Drynaria Pork Rib Stew

Kidney-tonifying bone-strengthening medicinal soup

Servings: Serves 3

Ingredients:

  • Drynaria 20g
  • Pork ribs 400g
  • Wolfberry 15g
  • Red dates 5 pieces
  • Ginger 3 slices
  • Salt to taste

Instructions:

  1. 1.Blanch pork ribs and rinse
  2. 2.Wash drynaria (remove hair)
  3. 3.Place all ingredients in stewing pot
  4. 4.Bring to boil then simmer 1.5 hours
  5. 5.Season with salt
